When evaluating patients with pleuritic chest pain, I think about illness that cause inflammation of the pleura — either directly or indirectly by a process that involves the underlying lungs.
Al valorar a un paciente con dolor torácico de tipo pleural, pienso en las enfermedades que pueden causar inflamación de la pleura, ya sea directa o indirectamente por un proceso que afecte al pulmón subyacente.
